Brewer: Legend Brewing Company (Virginia, USA)
Beer: Belgian-Style Single Ale
Style: Belgian Ale
abv: 4.5%
Background: Bottle from Kroger in Richmond. My first Legend.
Appearance: Amber with a largish white head and perpetual effervescence. Good lacing.
Aroma: Smells like a DP—very phenolic. Band-aids, plastic, and a hint of cloves.
Flavor: Tastes like a DP, only more watery (which is good because these particular flavors need to be spread as thin as possible).
Notes: God, that’s awful. Saved only by an immaculate appearance.
Clever Remark: If I were Belgian I’d sue these guys...and then bathe.
Rating: 2.3 out of 5
