Background: Bottle from the store. A lager yeast is used, but the beer is brewed at ale-brewing temperatures, supposedly giving it characters of both types.
Appearance: Pours amber with a tight two-finger head. A lot of effervescence in the middle of the glass.
Aroma: Smells like a malty lager.
Flavor: The crispness of a well-made lager is there, but I’m getting no ale fruitiness. Tastes like a decent Vienna Lager—at least it does for a second, then the taste is gone.
Notes: Thin but drinkable.
