Brewer: Baltika Brewery (St. Petersburg, Russia)
Beer: 9 Krepkoe
Style: Malt Liquor
abv: 8%
Background: Bottle from Vintage Wines. I didn't realize it was a malt liquor until I opened it.
Appearance: Gold with a large head and some effervescence.
Aroma: Citrusy hops, corn, and grains.
Flavor: Sweet and corny. A little alcohol in the finish and a nasty bitter aftertaste.
Notes: Better than I expected from a malt liquor, but not good by any means.
Rating: 2.2 out of 5
