Appearance: Pours orange-amber with a one-finger head and some effervescence.
Aroma: Big, sweet, malts, along with an ever-so-slight hint of pumpkin spice.
Flavor: As smooth as an Oktoberfest should be, but not nearly as flavorful as I would like. The malt flavor just doesn’t live up to the malt aroma, and there’s a metallic finish that isn’t helping.
Notes: Blander than Dominion’s or Victory’s Fest, but not a bad domestic attempt.
