Brewer: Starr Hill Brewing Company (Virginia, USA)
Beer: Pale Ale
Style: India Pale Ale
abv: 5%
Background: Bottle from Food Lion.
Appearance: Light amber/gold with a huge white head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Great citrusy smell, but there’s something else in the hop aroma that’s harsh and unpleasant.
Flavor: Decent. Not as hoppy as most IPAs, but what’s there is pretty good, and without the harshness of the aroma.
Notes: Half-decent, but probably only because it was brewed in Ashburn.
Rating: 3.3 out of 5
