Background: Bottle from Vintage Wines.
Appearance: Pours orangish-amber with a one-finger white head.
Aroma: Very balanced--some big American hops, but a very present malt background. A hint of diacetyl.
Flavor: Nice and resinous, with a hint of honey and some soapiness. The malt is still there, but not as noticeable; it lets the hops do their job.
Notes: Reminds me of an Alpha King, which can only be good.
