Brewer: Boston Beer Company (Massachusetts, USA)
Beer: Samuel Adams Boston Ale
Style: Amber Ale
abv: 5.1%
Background: Sampler.
Appearance: Pours amber with a generous head and good lacing.
Aroma: Very English-smelling—biscuity malts, diacetyl, and light spicy hops.
Flavor: Dry and bitter all the way through, with some biscuit notes at the beginning and a decent hop flavor on the finish.
Notes: Somethin about it don’t please me, but it’s drinkable.
Rating: 3 out of 5
